WDTech RA Client acts just the same as any telnet terminal. But it also allows you to take advantage of the Packet Encryption feature wich may become very useful if you transfer private files or data.
To connect, just press the 'Connect' button and enter the IP Address and password, if the port is the default port (550) you dont have to specify any port, if its something else then you must write the IP address in the forst 127.0.0.1:950 (IP address:port).
To take advantage of the Packet Encryption feature, check the Packet Encryption checkbox at the top of your client window before establishing a connection. The 'Clear' button clears the terminal window, and the 'Logout' button is used to disconnect from the WDTech RAE server.
Sometimes you will need to connect to a remote port like when you monitor the cursor posistion or when you create a text file. To connect to one of these ports use the 'Raw Connect' button and enter the IP address and chosen port, this will display another kind of window made especially for this kind of connections.
Remember telnet Downloads and Uploads file transfers ONLY transfer the data fork of the files, until this is fixed in the next version, you must previously encode transfered files which contain Resource Forks (i.e. an Application, a Multimedia document, etc) using an application such as Stuffit Deluxe (or DropStuff).
